Ropes Independent School District - 2019 | 2020 Bond Improvements
Classrooms and Kitchen/Dining Additions/Renovations
Project Description:
The fast paced growth of the Ropesville community has created capacity issues at the current school campus. After months of bond planning with Ropes ISD administrators and bond ambassadors, it was determined that expansion of the current dining area and addition of new classroom pods would be the most efficient way to alleviate overcrowding and sustain their growth projections.
JDMA’s design concept for the proposed New Classrooms and Dining Additions presents a custom solution to support the district’s forward-thinking approach to learning and the community. Collaborative learning areas serve as co-teaching spaces with small group breakout areas that connect to the building expansions. The classrooms, dining, and common spaces open to a large covered outdoor area that encourages both learning and play.
